- Day 1 – Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Nameri National Park
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Bhalukpong, which is the entry
hub of Arunachal Pradesh & famous for archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka who was the
grandfather of King Bana of Mahabharata fame. En-route visit Nameri National Park. Upon
arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Night at Bhalukpong.
- Day 2 – Bhalukpong - Dirang
Post breakfast, proceed to Dirang small hill station in West Kameng district. Its spectacular
landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul.
We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also refered as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land.
Witness Kiwi Orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an
excellent view of the surrounding. Upon arrival at Dirang, check into the hotel. In the evening
you are free to visit the hot water spring, regional sheep farm, Sangti, and Yak Research Center.
Night at Dirang
- Day 3 – Dirang - Tawang
After relishing a wholesome breakfast, proceed for a drive to Tawang and continue to reach the
scenic Sela Pass, the only way that connects Tawang district of the state to the rest of the
country. Besides its geographical importance, Sela Pass is a breathtaking place always covered in
snow providing some beautiful views of the eastern Himalayan range. En-route visit the famous
Sela Lake. Upon reaching Tawang, check in to your hotel. Night at Tawang
- Day 4 – Tawang – Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake),
Post breakfast, start your day with a breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake),
surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to
Bum La Pass about 37 km away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft
above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, which will surely
make your day. After this return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

- Day 5 – Tawang
Post breakfast, visit various beautiful sites in the city. Hit the Tawang Monastery (Golden
Namgyal Lhatse), Asia's second-largest and India's largest Buddhist Monastery which was built
about 350 years ago in the 17th Century. Explore age-old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery
and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-
piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in
memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1962 Sino-Indian war. Later, we
will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gompa, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest
Ani Gompa in Tawang. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as
a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show.
After this return to your hotel for the Night at Tawang.
- Day 6 – Tawang - Bomdila
Post breakfast, we will move on to Bomdila. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was
established in the year 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of
orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day. In Bomdila, have a
spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the
evening enjoy visiting the local market. Afterward retune to your hotel for the Night at Bomdila
- Day 7 – Bomdila – Kaziranga
After breakfast proceed to Kaziranga, in route visit Koliabhomora Water Sports & Tourist
Recreation Park, reach at hotel and enjoy the bonfire under the starry sky. Night at Kaziranga.
- Day 8 – Kaziranga National Park
After Breakfast proceed for full day excursion at Kaziranga National Park – Jeep Safari/Elephant
Safari (your choice at own cost) – Start your exploration with a thrilling jeep safari through the
lush forests and grasslands of Kaziranga. This is the best way to spot the park's diverse wildlife,
including the famed Indian rhinoceros, wild elephants, tigers, deer, and numerous bird species.
Afterwards, take a cultural detour by visiting nearby villages to experience the traditional
lifestyle and hospitality of the local communities. You can indulge in authentic Assamese cuisine,
interact with villagers, and explore their handicrafts and cultural practices. Return at Hotel and
rest. Night at Kaziranga.
- Day 9 – Kaziranga - Shillong
After breakfast, start your journey towards Shillong check in at your hotel After Fresh up visit
Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Night at Shillong
- Day 10 – Excursion to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, start your journey towards Cherrapunjee with lush green mountains viewing
numerous waterfalls falling all over on route to Cherrapunjee. En-route visit, Shillong Peak and
Elephant Falls, named after an Elephant like a stone at its foot, the Elephant Falls are amongst
the most popular falls in the North-East. Upon arrival at Cherrapunjee, visit Mawkdok Dympep
Valley View Point, Seven Sisters Falls & amazing Eco Park. Night at Cherrapunjee
- Day 11 – Cherrapunjee Double Decker Root Bridge Trekking
Early morning (5 AM) your journey (Optional) to Double Decker Root Bridge, deep in the dense
tropical forest of Meghalaya is a must-visit destination known for its numerous waterfalls. It's a
3000-step Trek down the hill and the trek starts from Tyrna Village (10 Kms from Sohra,
Cherrapunjee). The approx. time to complete the journey (both ways) is 5-6 Hrs. After returning
from double-decker Root Bridge, have lunch & then proceed to visit Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest
plunge waterfall in India. Mawsmai Cave, Nohsngithiang Falls & Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama.
Night at Cherrapunjee
- Day 12 – Cherrapunjee - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Shillong
Today early morning, start your road journey to Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong was awarded the
prestigious tag of 'Cleanest Village in Asia' in 2003. Visit Root Bridge & Bamboo Bridge. After
Mawlynnong, you will start your journey to the border town of Dawki, a hidden paradise. The
driver will keep getting you closer and closer to the Bangladesh plains which you had first
spotted from Mawlynnong Village. Umngot River in Dawki is crystal clear & is considered one of
the cleanest rivers in India. You can enjoy the boat ride in the river. Later in the evening return
to Shillong Night at Shillong
- Day 13 – Shillong Sightseeing & Transfer to Guwahati
After a wholesome breakfast, start your day tour & visit Lady Hydari Park, Ward's Lake and then
start your journey to Guwahati, en-route visit the Beadon Bishop View Point. Upon arrival at
Guwahati, check-in at the hotel. In the evening enjoy the stunning sunset view Brahmaputra
River Night at Guwahati
- Day 14– Guwahati Departure
Early Breakfast and proceed for Kamakhya & Umamannda Island temple visit & later proceed to
Guwahati. We drop you at the airport or railway station according to your schedule time. Return
home with sweet memories of Northeast India.
