- Day 1 – Arrive – Cochin
You will be picking from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and take to the hotel. Spend
the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin – the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one
of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and
trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include
Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
Night at Cochin
- Day 2 – Cochin – Munnar.
Following your lively Munnar excursion on the previous day, today you will be driven towards
scenic hill station of Munnar. (140 km / 5 Hours) Also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’,
your arrival in this hilly abode will be followed by your checking-in into a hotel or a resort. Spent
the rest of the day at total leisure while enjoy the stunning beauty of Munnar; Night at Munnar.
- Day 3 – Munnar.
After morning breakfast you can embark on a delightful sightseeing tour and discover all the
grandeurs of this gorgeous hill station town..
On the list, there will be scenic landmarks like Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Elephant Arrival Point,
Cinema Shooting Point, Jungle Honey Bee Nest and several other places. Mattuppetty, Tata Tea
Museum, Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Hydel Park, spice plantation and Anaimudi Peak
will also be visited during the day. By evening, you will be guided back to the hotel Night at
Munnar.
- Day 4 – Munnar – Thekkady.
Following your lively Munnar excursion on the previous day, today you will be driven towards
Thekkady. (110 km / 3 Hours) Home to the wildlife rich Periyar National Park, this tourist town is
known for its candid and untouched beauty.
Arriving in Thekkady, check-in into a hotel/resort and after relaxing for a while, you will be taken
for a rustic tribal tour to a nearby village followed by a plantation tour. Come evening, you can
avail a boat ride in the Periyar Lake and enjoy the wilderness of the Periyar National Park.
Returning from the ride, you can indulge in local shopping before retiring into the hotel/resort
for your overnight stay. Night at Thekkady
- Day 5 – Thekkady – Kumarakom
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom (135 km / 4 Hours). Check in
to the hotel. Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom – a tiny
backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of
backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour
the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay is arranged in Kumarakom.
- Day 6 – Kumarakom – Alleppey,
After today’s breakfast, you will be checked-out from the hotel/resort and driven towards
Alleppey; (36 km / 1.5 Hours) the backwater capital of Kerala. Arriving in Alleppey, check-in into
a houseboat and get settle down. Also called the ‘Venice of the East’, Alleppey is known for its
mesmerising beauty and charm. During your stay, you can enjoy and experience its meticulous
grace along with its warm hospitality.
Post this, you can take an exciting backwater cruise and discover the lush beauty of Alleppey’s
amazing network of canals, evergreen paddy fields, coconut lagoons and coir villages. stay will
be at the houseboat. Night at Alleppey,
- Day 7 – Alleppey – Kovalam
After a refreshing breakfast served onboard, check out from the houseboat and drive to
Kovalam (04 Hr Drive); on arrival check-in into hotel. Kovalam is one of the prime beach
destinations in India. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the
picturesque Kovalam Beach. Night at Kovalam
- Day 8 – Kovalam - Kanyakumari
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari (84 km / 3 Hours) on arrival
check-in into hotel. Afternoon, proceed for a local sightseeing A small temple dedicated to
goddess Kanyakumari – the youthful form of the primeval energy Shakti (Mother Goddess), is
located on the seashore. Swami Vivekananda, the great visionary and spiritual leader, spent
days in deep meditation on a rock about 400 m off the Kanyakumari coastline. There is a
memorial built on the stone in honor of Swami Vivekananda and adjacent to it stands the 133 ft
high statue of Tiruvalluvar, the author of the philosophical work Tirukkural. Visit the
Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda
Memorial, and Triveni Sangamam. Night at Kanyakumari
- Day 9 – Trivandrum Drop at Airport or Rail.
Post breakfast on the last day, Gather your sweet memories of the Kerala trip and leave for final
drive to Cochin; with your arrival in Cochin, this exciting tour will come to an end!
